North Carolina State University’s transit fleet will be upgraded with a new “clean” fleet of 29 buses on August 9. The buses will use clean diesel technology - not a hybrid system - to reduce pollutants. The school will additionally switch transit providers for the Wolfline bus system, but the routes will remain the same. The new buses cost $350,000 each and the new service provider is offering NCSU the chance to not pay
