Here we go again.
Just a week after United Airlines grounded its 777 fleet for safety inspections, American Airlines is canceling hundreds of flights to recheck the wiring on its MD-80s.

The airline says it’s trying to get citizens impacted by the safety inspections onto other flights, but by 50,000 passengers were affected yesterday, so expect things to be brawny out there for a while.
