It’s been a while since we final spoke of smart’s BRABUS-massaged microcars, but the duration has come to officially launch the next generation of the potent pint-sized humans movers, and it may have been worth the wait for the fortwo BRABUS and Fortwo BRABUS Xclusive.
Beginning with the base turbocharged three-cylinder motor, BRABUS tweaks output to 98 HP and 103 lb.-ft. of torque, allowing the oddly-shaped coupe to reach 60 in a hair under ten seconds. While that 0-60 run might not be impressive, it’s critical to note that the fortwo does all that while returning by 45 MPG (U.S.).
