Iwatani universal Corporation, a Japanese energy company, and Kansai Electric ability Company have developed a liquefied hydrogen storage mobile refueling station mounted on a semi-trailer, and are going to start operations in the Kansai area.
The view behind that is having a simpler method to deliver hydrogen by means of mobile or very small stations, which can be easily adapted to demand. They have taken key components such as liquid hydrogen tank, filling equipment, utilities equipment, etc., increasingly compact and loaded them onto a trailer. The 2,000-liter tank can fill around 15 fuel-cell vehicles.
