While Land Rover vehicles are slowly moving into greener territory with increasingly diesel options, some carbon offsetting and lighter hoods, the company is focusing a lot of its green attention on supporting environmental organizations. In May, we learned about Land Rover’s partnership with Earthwatch. Now we discover they’ve additionally been hangin’ with orangutans.
Land Rover has announced they will sponsor the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOS), a group that runs the world’s largest primate rescue project.
