Chrysler has announced that they will be extending their powertrain warranty from 3 years/36,000 thousand miles to the life of the vehicle. The engine, transmission/transaxle, drive shafts and axles will all be covered on nearly all of their vehicles. Unfortunately there are some exceptions. The Cummins diesel in the Ram trucks will keep its current 5 year/100,000 mile warranty. Another crucial exception will be the new Dodge Durango/Chrysler Aspen
