If you???ve ever had your catalytic converter stolen you probably know that the piece of hardware attached to your exhaust contains precious metals like platinum. Nissan has found a way to reduce the amount of expensive components in the converter in half by using nano-technology. It sounds like Star Trek science to us too, but the company says it will roll out its first new car with the less-expensive parts in the next year.
