We have written about house representative Dingell’s promised proposals to deal with global warming. Some details are starting to emerge. Dingell wants a .50 per gallon gas tax along with other measures like a cap and trade system, $100 tax per ton on carbon emission and ending tax cuts for homes by 3,000 square feet.
